A cross sits on the front of a slim hoop, built from six round stones rather than cut from metal: four down the upright and three across, sharing the stone at the junction. Each is held in its own prongs with a fine milgrain edge around the seat, and the whole cross stands proud of the band so it reads as a separate object resting on the hoop rather than something engraved into it. The hoop itself stays narrow and plain behind. Hinged, snapping shut behind the lobe.
